What is Rapid Eye Technology?

Dr. Ranae Johnson is the founder, owner, and operator of the Rapid Eye Institute located in Salem, Oregon.  The institute has been training RET technicians for 20 years. It is a certified vocational school in the state of Oregon. Len has been a technician for over 12 yrs.

From time eternal, it has always been a practice thru ceremony and rituals to maintain a harmonious relationship with ones environment. Humans and animals were attuned to their surroundings and acknowledged the interdependence of all species. Ceremonies for clearing the land before building, honoring the ancestors, reclaiming the original intentions of the land, and yearly tune-ups was a way of honoring and respecting nature. These practices served to keep a balance between man and the cosmos, mother earth and all its inhabitants.

The intention of “Sacred Space Clearing” and connection is to attune and align the energies of the particular space at that time. This assists the space to evolve to its highest potential of expression. It also involves the neutralizing and balancing of noxious earth and human distortions caused from past traumas, programs or impediments. Caretakers of the space are encouraged to develop a deeper connection to the “Spirit of the Space/Land”.

This process may involve the actual placement of specific tools to enhance the process. Len will notify the caretaker of the space, if this would be appropriate.

Energetic Feng Shui, or right placement, is the art of integrating the environment with the naturalness of the area. By allowing the life energies to flow easily thru a space, one may experience better health, less stress, increased abundance, clearer communication and countless other benefits. This specific process serves to bring greater awareness to all concerned.

Essential Oils have been used for thousands of years in many ancient cultures of the world. The therapeutic properties of pure essential oils have been widely documented over the centuries. They are still widely used in many countries with excellent results and their popularity is continually growing. There is a lot more data on the many cases of people receiving great benefits from the usage of pure essential oils.  They help promote emotional and physical healing as well as enhancing spiritual growth.

These natural plant medicines are safe, comparatively inexpensive, easy to use, quick acting and very effective. The process of extracting the oils from the plant is an alchemical one.  The essential oils are the result of a plants metabolism, the biological activity of the plant. They also give the plant its unique aroma and flavor.

The oils are the key component of the plants immune system. It is essential for the plant’s survival as well. The plant uses the oils for many reasons like, repelling unwanted insects/animals, healing when the plant is injured, preventing water loss from foliage when the climate is hot or dry, attracting bees and other helpers for the plant.

Essential oils are found in the leaves, stems, bark, needles, resin, flowers, fruits, and roots. The oils are stored by the plant in the resin ducts, hollow spaces, and cells.  They are extracted by distillation or cold press with a few exceptions.  There are many factors to be considered when harvesting the oils from the plant. When to harvest, the time between harvesting and distillation, distillation equipment, temperature, pressure, and how long to distill. Cold press is used to remove citrus oils from citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and tangerine.

It is very important to use only “Therapeutic Essential Oils”. Len can assist you in choosing the right oil for your particular situation.
